By combining sewing and 3D printed textiles, Pinx creates garments that blur the line between the future of fashion technology and classical couture techniques. Pinx is an emerging brand based in Austin, TX with a focus on wearable art, intimates, and formal attire while also utilizing the endless possibilities of 3D printing. As a self taught designer and founder of Pinx, Morgane Xenos is thrilled to watch Pinx grow as a business. Pinx intrinsically believes in creating art out of nothing, such as recycling and thirfting to create runway ready looks. There is a power behind “if you can think it, you can print it” which is what 3d printing has opened the door to.
As far as this collection goes, l’art + guère is a conversation about the state of our social consciousness. It is our responsibility as designers to create for the times.
